i hate how i feel like i have to hide. i have to pee really bad, but i hear them bustling about in the kitchen and i don't feel safe leaving my room unless i'm alone. it's always like walking through a minefield whenever they're out there to see me. especially stepdad. i think it's just my learned distrust for older men with authority over me, which was compounded and now will never be quite removable after the couple of times he's traumatized me. even though he meant well. same as with my boss, the other night. i think he meant to just teach me a lesson but it was soooooooo a bad idea. and now i will never be able to trust him again, because he is a "dad-type" person who has now frightened and abused me and now i will be convinced forever that he's ready to do it again any second, regardless of the reality. sucks how that works, but that's how my brain is these days, it seems.
gonna be super happy after i get Smash and then Alpha Sapphire!!! bb is getting Omega Ruby. :D he has not been playing X version as much as i wish he would, just hasn't been very into it, which makes me sad. but i know he really likes Hoenn, so maybe this will be different!
so i just DESTROYED two level 5 opponents twice in a row, both times simultaneously killing them BOTH in sudden death. i normally don't count sudden death as legit win, but two at once, twice in a row? hell yeah.
i'm really excited for the 1P mode in this new one. did i mention that i hate the name? just "super smash bros. for wii U and 3DS"??? why? i would have preferred even "super smash bros. 4" over that. that's just awkward and sad. like the "new 3DS". why not call it the Super 3DS??? that's so catchy! AND retro!
anyway. the 1P mode really means a lot to me, i know a lot of people don't care about it but when i was a young'n when the first smash bros was the game i played more than anything, i almost never played with anyone else. i never had any friends over, so the only people i played with on rare occasion were my family, and none of them played as much as i did so they weren't any kind of a challenge, so it wasn't fun to play with anything but myself and CPU. so i played that 1P challenge over and over and over. link, yoshi team, fox, pikachu, targets, giant donkey kong, kirby team, platforms, metal mario, race to the finish, polygon team, and master hand... maybe not exactly in that order. lol. i really didn't like Brawl's 1P story very much at all, it felt very contrived and wasn't much fun. i hope they improve on it.
so right now i'm just sitting in my chair waiting for 7:30 to get here, typing this up. i look to my right and the ps2 is sitting there after bb played spyro for hours and hours lol. he likes to leave it on standby, with the red light on, instead of turning it all the way off. i think it's just left over from when he used the smaller version [like the new ps2 we got, the tiny one we found at goodwill, with a top-loading disk instead of servos pushing it open... there's no switch on the back, that's how you turn it on, with the reset button]. there's a black ps2 memory card and a grey ps1 memory card in the slots. i can't remember if this ps2 has ever had more than one memory card in it before, lol. he's having so much fun playing spyro, completing it with a perfect score, all gems and such.
beside the ps2 and its little brother are three DS cases stacked on top of each other. on the bottom is my DSi case with my tons of DS games in it, and my red DSi XL. on top of that is my 3DS case, the gorgeous Xerneas/Yveltal case that i totally don't regret waiting in line for when i saw it, which contains my 3DS games but doesn't often actually carry my 3DS itself anywhere. most of the time it's just too bulky unless i'm packing it in a bag.
on top of that is my slightly stained tan DSi case which i use for carrying my 3DS when i go to work. it's the one that came with my red DSiXL that B sold to me, but it's just much more handy for carrying my 3DS [XL, i should mention that it's an XL lol] around in. especially at work. it's just enough padding to keep it from getting wet or scraped or broken when i bounce all around at work, but it's slim enough to fit in my work pants. very nice.
i really really should start playing find mii and stuff, because thanks to bringing it to work i get SO many streetpasses every day. many of them from regulars that i see over and over! i get so many houses in my animal crossing game. i just surpassed 666 streetpasses yesterday, since i got the system at the beginning of this year. that's like 3 per day and i don't work every day! :3
then on the other side of those is three gamecube game cases. two of which have the games in them, and the other one has the game inside the gamecube. that's my current library, lmao. the sonic mega collection, animal crossing [which i have not played in like... a week... shame on me] and the newest one, pokemon colosseum!! i found it at save point games the other day and they NEVER have big important games like that, it's always shitty stuff no one buys, like movie tie ins or shitty puzzle games and stuff. they never keep mario or zelda or pokemon etc for any amount of time, and i live far enough away that i can't get there very quickly, so that was a lucky find. i had to pick it up. 25 bucks, not bad.
the disc stopped reading kinda often when i played it, the night that i got it. but that is very likely to be my gamecube's problem and not the game. that is the reason we got that gamecube for free, lol. because sometimes the disc won't spin on its own. you have to spin it yourself. i just saved often, it happened three or four times within a couple of hours. hopefully next time i boot it up it won't keep pooping out on me like that.
vidya gaAAAAEMS. the sun is setting and behind me there is perched a comfy bird. i haven't talked enough on here about arty. he is a good boy. my favorite cranky evil thing. he keeps me company and it's totally worth him pooping everywhere.
i guess i'll wrap this up and try to tidy a few things off the bed before i have to go, so bb won't have to deal with it when he gets home. :3
